Spacious East End beauty. Built as a tenant house by Alfred Newson in May 1913, the house has lovely wood floors, high ceilings, large rooms with pocket doors and an elegant entry hall. The bay front of the living room faces east and has windows on the south as well, making the room bright. The dining room is generous and has access to a shady porch for after dinner. The modern island kitchen was installed post Ike (2009). A large pantry and laundry room are adjacent. Upstairs is a lovely landing for perhaps an office and two large bedrooms and one smaller with access to the upstairs gallery. Plenty of space on a great block in the sought after historic district.
